I think it is going to be one of those weeks where we clear out what we have. Things are (mostly) not over-flowing but I want to start with a blank slate because…We got a NEW (to us) REFRIGERATOR! I am super excited about it. My in-laws bought a new fridge and gifted us their old one.
After my sad attempts to organize our old refrigerator, I am thrilled to have a completely new design to plan out not to mention more freezer space! My perfect plan did not involve throwing all the contents of the old refrigerator into this one in a mad dash but perfect plans never seem to go perfectly, do they? I want to try to use up as many odds and ends as I can so I can have mostly empty shelves when I start setting things up the way I want. Therefore, our menu plan revolves around cleaning out some items that have been hidden in the old refrigerator/freezer. It also might be worth noting that our weather this week is supposed to be very warm until week-end.
Hot dogs, French fries, jicama, and broccoli (J will eat a grilled cheese maybe?) This was a special request and since I have a 4pm meeting, quick & easy works for me!
Sweet & Spicy bacon wrapped chicken (carried over from last week) and baked potatoes. G has clarinet lessons
Lasagna. Teacher Conference for J and possibly G
Leftovers! The boys get out of school early due to teacher conferences and have soccer practice. Maybe I’ll make a dessert.
Steak Soup, salad, and baked potatoes. The boys will be out of school today and I’m hoping the soup can simply go in the crock pot until we are ready for it. G doesn’t like soup at all and J is probably going to not like it (although you never know with that one!) so I know they will both be eating something else but I am not sure what…
