I Like Blogmas Day 6: My Christmas Wish List

This turned into an unexpectedly full work week so I’m combining the I like and Blogmas posts this morning.  They blend nicely today as the Blogmas topic is “My Christmas Wish List.”

I like the newer slower pace I’m following for Christmas decorating. Enjoying each decoration, not worrying about the mess, and trying not to stress over “Where is our Christmas wreath?”

Some items on my Christmas decorating wish list:

  • A Christmas picture for the bathroom (I already put up a Christmas themed shower curtain and night-light)
  • Some new towels, Christmas-y ones, for in there
  • A place for our old, big hard to assemble Christmas tree (I still miss it!)
  • More Christmas throws and pillows for the living room
  • Christmas sheets and bedding for all the bedrooms
  • And a clean house to show it all off properly

Thankful though for a warm, cozy home to spend snowy December days with family.

Speaking of snowy days, it’s snowing here AGAIN! The snow is pretty, snow globe living isn’t too bad. Perhaps, we’ll actually have a white Christmas this year.  My boys were barely into elementary school last time that happened, I think.

Some items on my Christmas wish list for cozy days at home:

  • More crackling Woodwick candles
  • New fuzzy socks
  • The search continues for a new favorite coffee mug, I keep trying and missing

Thankful for the chance to spend some cozy days at home. Christmas break is 11 days away!

Of course, I have a few other items on my wish list including not only a few other material things (it’s okay to like presents!) but kindness, good will, and peace (both world and among a few feuding family members).

What’s on your Christmas list?

Love the Christmas shower curtain!!! I never knew there might even be such a thing! I know exactly how you feel about having a favorite coffee mug – hope you can find one you love just as much soon.

Amazon has everything 😉 Thanks, I do have mugs I like just none have quite made the “favorite” status. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I have a Christmas bathroom rug! I like seeing winter flannel sheet sets… I want another one… hoard, hoard. I do have red flannels that go on the bed the week before Christmas. Mainly because they are wonderfully thick and once you’re in bed, there will be no turning over with them!

I saw some lovely dishes at Williams Sonoma last weekend…. I still have a great set but they are starting to look scratched, and one (gasp) chipped last year.

I have a small snowflake rug in our bathroom but I keep it on top of the cushy bathmat or the boys would complain. Christmas flannel sheets are so fun. Easy to get too many, our winters have been so mild I’ve not put them on the beds because I live in a house of hot-blooded people. Maybe this year. Love Williams Sonoma! Such a fun store.

Ooh. Fuzzy socks are the best! I finally got my advent calendar up (just four days late). Your shower curtain is cute. Gotta have a good mug – that is a must!

I do think fuzzy socks disappear in the dryer at higher rate than regular socks. Never can seem to find a matching pair. Mismatched works fine though. I enjoy my shower curtain, my boys aren’t quite fans of it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

LOL at your comment “Amazon has everything” – they certainly do! Glad you’re taking it slow (despite the busy work week) and enjoying the season.
