Blogmas 2019: Holiday Schedule

I had so much fun doing the Blogmas, hosted by Tamy from Chasing My Life last year.  So, I’m joining in for a second year.

And working a bit ahead. Working on my Holiday schedule post before Thanksgiving. Scandalous, I know!

Of course, this should be a quick post because I don’t have a holiday schedule. The end. Ha!

My plans for this holiday season in a rough schedule form are as follows:

The tree (hopefully, already up by the time you read this) goes up the day after Thanksgiving or sometime that weekend.

We do need to work around some band concerts and events for J early in the month. Plus my birthday falls this month! Coinciding, of course, with some band events. That’s okay.

Since Thanksgiving falls a bit late, I’d like to be done with my shopping before the boys’ get out for their respective Christmas breaks. The high school is in session until December 20th, I think. However, G’s college finals will end a lot sooner than that. Might be interesting finding time and ways to hide presents with him home more than I’ve been used to in the past.

We’ve lost a few family members this year and so my main plan is to simply focus mostly on our family of four.  And not worry about the drama of everyone else. Because, of that, I don’t have much in the way of a holiday schedule at this point.

I’m hoping we’ll still be hosting Christmas breakfast and eating dinner with my brother but it’s too early for those plans (I’m sure they’ll all be discussed next week on Thanksgiving and I’ll update this draft accordingly.).

Do you follow a holiday schedule?
