You could not have written this at a better time. I had a mini breakdown on Facebook today (I try not to be “that” friend who’s always whining on FB, but sometimes…) because my crazy bus is going over the speed limit and I’m starting to lose it. My kids are still wondering why mommy was crying into the freezer this morning.

That is a good idea about keeping the house tidy. I looked around today and decided I needed to spend some time on mine before it spiraled completely out of control and you are right, I don’t feel as rushed.

I imagine it is super hard to stay disciplined that last week of school when homeschooling. I find I’m already letting things like bedtime slide around here. I’m doing laundry today

Sounds as if things are super busy for you as well! Well, sometimes when volunteering you still have to fight the urge not to strangle people LOL. Oh, enjoy your time sleeping in later than 6am.

We’ve all been there and done that! Hope you get some relief soon.

When my life is crazy like that I definitely try to do some laundry. I like the way you said that – don’t worry about getting it all done, just do some!

I also write down only my MUST DO’s for the day and focus on getting those done and keeping the house as tidy as I can. If it’s tidy, I don’t feel so rushed and crazy.

I’m the crazy bus…or was it the busy bus…either way I’m flying way too fast! I’m also counting down to summer. Just one more week of school to go! I love homeschooling my kids, but I always look forward to a break.

I totally agree with your “do laundry” suggestion. Not only is it nice for everyone to have clean clothes it’s also nice to not have a huge pile of dirty laundry waiting for you once things do slow down.
